Being registered is the first step to voting. Here is how to check your details quickly.
Step 1: Open the official voter portal
Visit the Election Commission's voter services portal. You can search by your EPIC (voter ID) number or by your personal details.
Step 2: Search for your entry
Enter your name, age, state and district, or simply your EPIC number. If you are registered, your details and polling station will appear.
Step 3: Note your polling booth
Write down your part number and serial number. These make things faster on election day.
Step 4: Fix any mistakes
If your name, address or photo is wrong, you can apply for a correction online. Moving house? Apply to shift your registration to the new constituency.
Common questions
Can I vote without a voter ID card? If your name is on the roll, other approved photo ID documents are usually accepted.
I turned 18 recently. What should I do? Apply as a new voter as early as possible so your name is added before the next election.
